All items are dispatched with Parcelforce to arrive on the start date of your hire period.

On the day of delivery you will receive a one hour delivery window from Parcelforce directly.

Any damage or shortages must be reported to us within 24 hours.


You will receive a prepaid returns label with the delivery. This needs to be attached on the original packaging, covering the original delivery label.

This can be taken to any UK post office or Parcelforce depot.

Once your hire agreement end date arrives you have two days to return the item to us.

Loss & Damage

Loss & Theft
If the instrument has been lost or stolen, this must be reported as such to the Police. The relevant incident number must then be passed to The Small Tool Hire CO. An insurance excess charge of up to £75 is payable.

During the duration of the hire agreement all items are insured by us. If your item has been lost, stolen, damaged beyond repair an insurance charge of  up to £75 is payable.

Payment & Deposits

Our checkout is secure and uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology, and all our payment gateways use military grade encryption.

Payment can be made using all major credit/debit card.

Deposits are returned once ALL items are returned. Including all accessories.
